How 2026 Donations Will Be Used
Create New Clean Water Systems
Your donation helps expand solar-powered clean water systems in communities where families are still walking long distances or relying on unsafe hand-dug wells. In 2026, this includes expanding our clean water system in Awasi to reach three additional communities, and upgrading an existing system at a regional hospital that has experienced a 67% increase in demand since MissionCleanWater completed the original project in 2021.
Repair Broken Water Systems
Across Uganda, many communities have existing wells that stop working because of broken parts, worn-down pipes, damaged seals, poor drainage, or a lack of long-term maintenance. Your support helps us diagnose and repair these systems by replacing broken parts, testing water quality, and restoring safe water access. After repairs are completed, our team continues monthly monitoring so communities do not have to wait months or years for clean water to return.
Work Towards 100% Clean Water Coverage
MissionCleanWater is working toward 100% clean water coverage in two districts of Uganda by 2030, helping provide reliable clean water access to an estimated 500,000 people. This requires identifying communities without reliable water, repairing broken boreholes, expanding solar-powered systems, training local water committees, and creating a long-term maintenance system so clean water is always running.
