$2,000 Fundraising Goal

Please consider supporting Missioncleanwater as I prepare to run for 24 hours on July 22, 2023. Last year I was able to accomplish 80 miles in 24 hours and want to complete 100 miles this year.

I am running because I believe every person on this earth should have access to clean water and proceeds raised from this fundraiser will go directly to fund a clean water project.

It is easy for me to take clean water for granted, as I have been fortunate enough to live in an environment where clean water is readily accessible. While running for 24 hours, I will be consuming foods, snacks, fluids, and most importantly water.

Your donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated, will positively impact the lives of hundreds of people who you likely have not met, and will allow Missioncleanwater to continue improving the standard of living for those in need.

Gautama Reid’s ability to run long distances would not be possible without clean water. This is why he is dedicated to raising $2,000, so communities, families, and children around the world can have better access to clean water.

Tamaques Park 24hr race

The event Gautama is participating in a 24-hour race at Tamaques Park in Westfield, NJ. He will have to complete 125 laps along the .8 mile loop in 24 hours to reach his goal of 100 miles. What does a strategy look like?

4.16 miles

To reach 100 miles in 24 hours, Gautama must accomplish 4.16 miles every hour.

300-400 calories

Every hour, Gautama will consume 300-400 calories to keep his body going

How Is My Donation Used?
