$5 = Clean Water For 1 Person
Wild Goose Trail Festival
On September 19th, Michael will take on the Wild Goose Trail Festival in Ringwood State Park, hosted by Sassquad Trail Running.
His goal is simple, but far from easy: complete 100 miles within the 36-hour cutoff.
This race will test him through a full day, a full night, and then deep into the next day as he keeps moving through the trails of northern New Jersey. One hundred miles means managing fatigue, darkness, pain, weather, nutrition, and the mental battle that comes when the body wants to stop long before the finish.
For Michael, this challenge is about more than crossing a finish line. Every mile is a commitment to keep showing up, keep pushing forward, and use his effort to help create something lasting for others.
As he takes on 100 miles, he is also helping MissionCleanWater bring reliable clean water to communities that need it most. His race is a reminder that endurance is not just about how far one person can go, but how far we can go together when we turn effort into impact.
Completing 100 miles is a team effort. Consider joining Michael to help crew/pace him!

We Put In The Miles So They Don’t Have To
Going Farther Than The Finish For Clean Water
For Michael, running became more than a sport, its a way of navigating life’s challenges by developing a way to process and heal.
His ultra marathon journey has given him the opportunity to experience new challenges, understand emotions, and make impacts greater then himself. What is his next big challenge? Completing a 100 mile race and putting his miles towards something big.
Michael is partnered with MissionCleanWater to help more communities without safe clean drinking water. The communities he will be impacting he has worked with in the past while stationed in Soroti, Uganda with the US Army.
Supporting MissionCleanWater gives his running a deeper purpose. Through races, volunteering, and community support, his goal is to help raise funds and awareness so more families can have lasting access to clean water.
