Lincoln 100
The Lincoln 100 is a 100 mile run around a 3.27 mile loop in Lincoln, NH to celebrate Chris’s spirit, dedication, and unwavering commitment to making a difference. This will take place on January 16th starting at 3:30pm, the exact date that he left for the Pemi Loop.
Chris Roma was a remarkable individual who left a mark on everyone he met. Chris has supported MissionCleanWater since 2019 by completing everything from the Appalachian Trail to a two flight staircase in a parking garage to climb the height of Mt. Everest. He single handedly raised more than $30,000 providing clean water to 5,000 people.
This year we hope to be able to double his impact by raising $60,000.
Join us as we celebrate Chris, his relentless positivity, and his contributions to making a better world.
Chris has inspired hundreds to take that next step forward towards positive change. Whether it be someone’s first hike, walk in the park, ultramarathon, or thru-hike, he has motivated people to reach new potentials. Even on a tough day, you could rely on him giving you extra motivation to keep pushing. The Lincoln 100 was Chris’s original creation and we are thrilled to be part of it to honor him.

Meet The Team
Nick Higgins
Nick first met Chris when he moved to Lincoln in the fall of 2021. They quickly started bagging peaks and climbing all around the White Mountains. Chris’s drive to help others and his championing of numerous efforts for those without a voice is truly inspiring. “We are here to carry Chris’s torch forward, and continue being advocates for those in need” says Nick.
James Leitner
James first met Chris when he saw Chris hiking on the shoulder of a Colorado road in the rain while on the Continental Divide Trail. After offering a ride, Chris’s radiant energy and positivity in a wild situation was radiant and the friendship blossomed from there. Even when living in different states, they completed joint endurance challenges, fundraisers, and always found ways to support each other.
