Krayko: A Colorado Journey
Bryan Krayko’s journey hiking the 485 mile long
Colorado Trail from Denver To Durango.
Start Date: July 8th

My name is Bryan Krayko and I’m psyched to be hiking the Colorado Trail this summer! I’ve been doing long distance hiking for 8 years now and still haven’t fallen out of love with it. I’ve done big mileage on both the AT & PCT and have some international miles on the Laugavegur Trek in Iceland, and the Annapurna Circuit last year in Nepal. I’m an aspiring firefighter to-be in NYC and decided to see and hike as much as I can before that journey starts! Can’t wait for Colorado this summer!
Hiking the Colorado Trail would be impossible without clean water. This is why Bryan is raising $1,500 towards clean water during hike hike.
The Colorado Trail
The Colorado Trail is a 485 long trail that navigates through what is considered Colorado’s most beautiful wilderness. Bryan will spend his time hiking along mountain ranges above 13,000ft, experiencing endless fields of wild flower blooms, and visit historic mining towns. Truly a unique adventure.
Updates from the Trail
Once Bryan starts hiking, we will be providing weekly updates and stories of how his experience has gone.
Bryan is expected to start on July 8th
Why Clean Water?
Bryan’s ability to complete all of these long distance hikes would not be possible without clean water. Throughout the Colorado Trail, he will be cleaning and disinfecting the water he collects to not get sick. All donations raised from Bryan’s journey will help provide a clean water solution for an All-Girls School in Uganda. Currently 1,000 students do not have clean water on site and walk to find water missing classes. Together, we will find a clean water solution for these students.
