We Put In The Miles So They Don’t Have To
Lake Placid
- Last Man Standing Race -
The Lake Placid Last Man Standing Race is an endurance challenge where runners must complete a 4.167-mile loop every hour and continue for as long as they can. In 2026, Jordan Ross is taking on the race with a goal of reaching 50 miles.
For Jordan, this run is about more than testing her limits. It is a way to support MissionCleanWater’s work bringing safe, reliable drinking water to families in Uganda. Too many people still spend hours each day searching for water, often sacrificing time that could be spent in school, at work, or caring for their families.
Running 50 miles means returning to the starting line hour after hour, even when her body wants to stop. Loop by loop, Jordan will push forward to raise $1,000 and help expand a clean water system that will reach 5,000 people.
