Running Philly to NYC

The run will begin on May 20th, one day after Ethan’s graduation, at the Rocky Statue in Philadelphia. From there, we’ll head to Villanova University, where Ethan is graduating, then continue into New Jersey to Montclair, his hometown. After Montclair, we’ll cross the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee and head south to finish at the exact spot the New York City Marathon ends in Central Park.

Come Crew and Pace

Completing this run is a team effort and MissionCleanWater will be part of Ethan’s crew team. Ethan will have a crew with him to help resupply, track progress, and pace him during the run. If you would like to come crew him, please send us an email. Once you message us, we will provide you with a crewing packet to sign up for shifts and know all of the details. You can help with:

  1. Pacing: Run with Ethan! As far as you would like. We will drive you back to your car. Bonus points if you run at night. In order to pace, you will need to be able to have a runners pack and be responsible for navigating or not making any wrong turns.

  2. Crewing: You will meet with Ethan at every checkpoint to resupply him, provide breaks, and monitor progress. Not only will you give Ethan a break but also give our main crew team a chance to rest since they will be with him the entire time. You will need your own vehicle.
