Dirty Drinking Water In Your Backyard
In numerous communities across the United States, the water supplied to households is unfortunately unsafe for consumption. Various factors contribute to water contamination, such as chemicals seeping into groundwater, lead leaching from outdated infrastructure, and bacterial infiltration during significant storm surges.
As these challenges persist and new issues arise, it is crucial to monitor and assess domestic clean water concerns to provide the availability of safe drinking water in our community.
To address this pressing issue, we are actively seeking partnerships with community organizations and nonprofits that share a commitment to implementing community-based clean water models within the United States. We aim to collaborate with like-minded entities dedicated to addressing and mitigating domestic clean water challenges.
Our Plan
Test
To date, we have collected over 100 water samples to test for different chemicals in drinking water. We will use this to help different community partners find solutions for clean water.
Develop
If a community partner is found to not have clean drinking water, we will develop a solution that can address that issue.
Community Involvement
After a solution is created, we will work with the community to address and solve those issues. From there, we can grow to make a larger impact.
